some of my old band photos published
Someone just published a bio of Steve Kilbey and The Church, an 80s-90s Australian band. In the late 80s, I was hanging with and photographing Game Theory, a California band.
The bands crossed paths, there was a soap opera, and that story is included in the book, along with a few of my contemporaneous photographs.
It's fun to see my photos in a book, and it's a trip to see an event I lived through - tawdry though it was - told as history.

re heartbreak - in the group shot bottom right, the two on the left were a couple, then - during a tour - she left him for a member of The Church - it was very messy, and the band was so frustrated by the drama that they broke up soon after...
