melrose place is terrible...but i havent even bothered watching vampire diaries bcuz i kno thats gonna be bad too hahaha.

Actually, it's based on a series of books that were written back in 1991, before Smeyer even started coming up with the idea of Twilight. They made some changes to apply to the Twilight crowd, but the book series has been around for much longer than Twilight has.

vampire diaries...true blood is the only vampire tv show/movie that is acceptable.

I know the series of Vampire Diaries was around before Twighlight and I've heard that its actually better but I think the only reason its a show is because its the CW's way of keeping up with the dumb Twighlight fad going on right now

Vampire Diaries is worse. Although I haven't seen any Melrose Places... But I did read the Vampire Diaries books and loved them. But the show? Too much. Too much indeed.
