Casa Grande (great house)

Remains of an ancient Hohokam Village built around the 1300's
Coolidge Arizona.

This structure is known as the Casa Grande at 4 stories high and 60 feet long , it is the largest structure known to exist in Hohokam times.

The roof structure was added in 1932 to protect the great house

That roof was built in 1932 ? It looks new.......Incredible structure to have survived since the 1300's

After looking in original size I see the roof is made out of metal, I thought it was wood...But it still looks in amazing condition : )
