Insane because they're forcing women to jump through a few thousand hoops in order to get one.

If you recall, South Dakotans easily rejected the abortion ban last year. So, what do lawmakers waste their time with? Introducing a bill that's even more extreme than the previous one.

Well, right off the bat, this is nuts. Why would you introduce an even more stringent bill if the citizens of your state wouldn't even accept the old one? Beats me.

But check this out:

In addition to preventing the death of a woman, an abortion may be obtained in cases of rape or incest, but the victim must report the rape to the police within 50 days, the physician must obtain a copy of the report record, and the victim must provide either the name and last known address or a description of the alleged rapist to law enforcement. Furthermore, the physician would be required to take blood samples from the woman and the fetus to be submitted to law enforcement.

UMMMM. I'm not entirely sure of the timeline in which you can legally obtain an abortion, but, by the time this is completed, wouldn't the woman have already exceeded this?

Ridiculous.
