Anthony Green, one of the most idolized singers within the scene today, is a musician from Doylestown Pennsylvania. He is the current lead singer of Circa Survive, an experimental indie-rock band, but also has a solo career – it’s a mixture of indie, bluegrass and psychobilly. He was formerly in the band, Saosin and is in the experimental rock side-project, Sounds of Animals Fighting, as the Skunk alongside Craig Owens (ex-Chiodos) and others.

His first solo debut, Avalon, dropped late 2008, reaching #44 on the Billboard 200 in the US. Anthony has stated that a side-project was all this was going to be – on the side.

Anthony’s life hasn’t been so cheery though. He was dyslexic since he was a child, making it hard for him to learn – he lost interest in school. He then began getting messed up on heroin and cocaine in community college, putting him in rehab for nearly a year by his family. He has come on top though.

Anthony Green is someone who has withstood so much just to overcome it all with what he believes will change the world – happiness. He is getting by by just being happy!

Anthony’s follow-up to Avalon, titled Beautiful Things, will come to work once Circa Survive finishes recording their third studio album.

I saw Watchmen today for the 2nd time with my mom, me and a few others went and saw it at midnight last week which was awesome and the first time I ever went to a midnight showing...
today was fun though, my mom took off from work and hung out with me since I've been awake about 5 hours this whole break..
my day was as follows...
well I woke up, went to my doctor appointment, we went to Panchero's which is a mexican place that's so delicious, it's exactly like chipolte or qdoba, we then went to DSW and I got my new favorite sandals for the spring, I'll be wearing the shit out of them I know it already... here they are for reference..

then we decided to see watchmen and 2.5 hours later I was a happy camper..
then we went to target and marshall's and i bought apartment shit for next year whic is always exciting...
here's my current favorite things...
he's on GQ which is hilarious, they must have low standards but homeboy does look damnn good.

I also recently dyed my hair there's a bunch of blonde highlights that I kinda freaked out about as soon as I did it, but that's a whole nother story ;) I guess I always do that when I dye it though, plus if I truly hated it I would've changed it by now I guess..
