I don't have a favorite, but i've a few that appeal more than the others.

Ouran Host Club. It's funny as hell
Guyver Bioboosted armour, the new one, its got a good story and is generaly well done
Lupin, again funny as hell

however i'll generaly watch each series and evaluated it on it's own merits. though we don't get many desent anime aired in the UK, they are mainly to childish to have much appeal. So my viewing is normaly scewed towards the Films and OVA's instead of the series.

its either gundam seed or .hack 4 sum reason im attracted 2 giant robots and or crazy powerful weapons

Either Death Note or Elfen Leid.

I'm gonna go Death Note for now cuz I'm currently watching the whole series again.
I love it because its so clever and so beautifully done. It's absolutly engrossing from the first episode.

Try watching online, there's loads of websites that do fansubs if you don't speak Japanese.

Azumanga Daioh is one of my favourites it's pretty funny :)

I just finished watching Saiunkoku Monogatari I and I loved it! I'm waiting for all episodes of Saiunkoku Monogatari II to be subbed. I just started watching Busou Renkin and I'm enjoying it so far.
