totally. i went thru the biggest kaufman phase. i have the book by zmuda and read it and did my 8th grade project on the guy. the movie is really amazing too, i think... courtney love and jim carrey!?
i mean... i think the guy is amazing. a definite influence on how i see things. such as getting a reaction out of your audience, be it good OR BAD. when i get bad things, i absorb them as i would the positive (thanks, andy).
seems like he'd be a sweetie in person too...

have you seen "i'm from hollywood," which is a collection of video about his wrestling antics? how about "my breakfast with blassie?" if not... hmmm... buzzgift time?!? ;)
oh... one last thing. if you had lived through the real thing, you'd probably agree with me that the movie was a big misfire... but that's all relative to one's experience of the man. he was very, very DIY, in fact! and milos forman leaves that out, almost entirely! grrrr...
it's funny, when i saw it i had no opinion of c-love, so i didn't care, and it was pretty much a first impression to me... no, i did not listen to hole when i was 13.
and i believe that it was all way off on making it spot on and all, but i just really loved the movie. i do agree however, because after reading the book, then seeing the movie... it was like "guh? that didn't happen! where's that other guy?? zmuda wasn't that good looking!!"
