Second Day of Bamboozle 2008

Second Day was pretty awesome I probably liked it better than the first day because the lineup was just intensely amazing. First band I saw was Cobra Starship and they were amazing like always and HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATE! Second Band was the Academy Is… it was pretty sad that we were really far away from them. I wore my Chicago Bulls shirt just for Sisky but once we got there their crowd was huge. I couldn’t even push my way closer and I’m pretty good at that. Third band if I remember correctly was Say Anything I believe, but I wasn’t a fan of their performance at all. I don’t know I don’t like them live I guess, not that great.

Ok I need a whole paragraph for this performance and yes I’m talking about The Starting Line. It was really sad and really emotional for someone who is a fan of course. This was their last show and it’s sad to say that this was my first and last show of theirs. They were really amazing and everyone in the crowd seemed to have enjoyed it. I know it was really sad when everyone chanted for them to not break up and also even sadder when everyone jump in on stage and sang BEST OF ME with them. I wish they didn’t have to break up they are an awesome band. COME BACK SOON STARTING LINE.

After Starting line I saw Mayday Parade I think I’m not sure in what order this was exactly but they were good. Only thing too many people to see them and they were in such a small stage. Then this is all out of order but I saw Alien Ant Farm, Gym Class Heroes, Rock Of Love DUDE, Motion City Soundtrack, The Hush Sound, The Color Fred and Panic at the Disco.

Favorite performances were Cobra, Hush Sound, Color Fred and Panic the rest were also amazing but I was too far to enjoy it. These bands I actually got the chance to be all the way in the front.

First Day Of Bamboozle

I think I over done myself yesterday because I can barely get up now for the second day. I beat my record on crowd surf a day, yes I counted. Ashbury stage in the morning sucked you couldn’t hear the microphone. I was in the middle for cute is what we aim for didn’t hear shit and same with red jumpsuit apparatus so I just walked away. Went to see Metrostation for the third time this year and they get better every time maybe it’s just because I’m more familiar with their songs. I really didn’t know them during the motion city soundtrack tour and during the really really ridiculously good looking tour.

Anyway I also saw Aiden, Jimmy Eat World, Alien Ant Farm, Jacks Mannequin, Snoop Dog but my favorite shows probably was Medina Lake, Men Women and Children and Saves the Day. During Medina Lake I participated on my first Mosh Pit and I got to touch Nate’s ass he crowd surfed right on top of me. Saves the Day just because they played Anywhere with you and especially At Your Funeral and that’s love. Men Women and Children were just beyond awesome it was like clubbing with a Mosh Pit. We asked for an Encore but they couldn’t give it to use because the next band was going up next.  So we booed the next band sorry guys I wanted to hear Messy.

Bamboozle Experience this year awesome I kept my shoe on.

See you guys tomorow

I Am Ghost and Alien Ant Farm band members and crew fight onstage

At yesterday's Pangea Fest the members of Alien Ant Farm and their crew instigated a fight between I Am Ghost and their crew.

According to the Steve the lead singer of I Am Ghost, AAF's crew was talking down to their crew all night and told them to leave the stage while they were setting up for IAG's set, becoming an all out fight when the AAF tour manager shoved IAG's guitar tech, resulting in a "free for all" that had to be broken up by the police.

My Spidey Sense has not detected any official response from Alien Ant Farm as yet. Since when were Alien Ant Farm hot shite anyway? They had like one famous song that was a Michael Jackson cover.

As Steve put it, the most upsetting part is for the fans who had to wait around for hours when AAF turned up late and then had the rest of their show cancelled when the bands started fighting.

Good times in the rock n roll lifestyle.

GRRRRRR!

Do you know what really annoys me? this kinda just occured to me the other day but i absolutely hate it when people shorten band names to the initials. I know its stupid but think about, seriously what is easier to say CIWWAF or Cute is What We Aim For? There's loads of them MCR (My Chemical Romance) P!ATD (Panic! at the Disco) FFAF (Funeral for a Friend) BFMV (Bullet for my Valentine) LP (Linkin Park) 30STM (30 Seconds to Mars) TBS (Taking Back Sunday) B4S (Bowling for Soup) AAF (Alien Ant Farm) SOAD (System of a Down) and more!!! You hear people all like "have you heard the bfmv song? I love ffaf! have you got ciwwaf album? i'm going to the tbs concert!" Its sounds like they're talking about a load of diseases or something!!!!! Look out for all these shortenings, they'll drive you crazy!!!!!
