September 5, 2009

this;

I may start writing in here, but knowing me I can never keep track of things. I always end up forgeting to do it. and be like blah. Like I started writting in a journal a few weeks ago and did it for like two weeks? and havent kept up with that, I should start up again. School is starting tuesday which means during weekdays I will do nothing but homework, sleeping, and some computer here and there.
so I might be able to keep track of this, but who knows?

Yesterday I went to bush gardens with Dominic, my boyfriend, and whole family, two sisters, mother, dad.
Which I feel soo outta place with, because they have awl dark hair and taned skin. and me with my pale blonde and pink and purple hair, ahah. its pretty funny though.

Thats me and Dominic on the way there. He wasn't even paying attention. I think this when we got pulled over by the cop, ahah. His dad got a ticket. So that was just lovely, c:

This is when we were eating in Itay, His sister was taking random pictures and I though this picture was amusing. I cannot remember what I was saying though. I wish I did, because it looks like he's beingg all BULLLLSHITTTTTT hannah, ahah.

A Bee kept attacking me and going into my lovely lemonade. This was right before I was attacked again and started runing, ahah. :o

Me and Dominic took a train threw busch gardens from like italy to france to germany?, and we noticed a HUGE pink monkey, and hes like imma steal it, and im like okay? not thinking he would. So he jumps the gate thingy after we exit and when the gard is not looking. He looked so funny! Then he jumped it again with the monkey which is about as big as him and we start fast walking. it was so funny. c:

Thats his sister. and the monkey's name is Momo, its bigger than m sitting down. Dominic was saying how I could fit in it and wear it as a costum for halloween, xD
I think that is a fabelous picture of me from the side and not paying attention. I am wearing his hat, which I enjoy so I am getting one for myself, he told me to get a lime green one. xD Which I am considering. c: I am oddly attracted to this picture of me, which is werid because I usually dislike pictures of me, espically ones other people take.

I feel asleep with him in their van on the way home from busch gardens, So it was a fantastic ending to a fantastic day.
Well we went back to his place for a bit, but I'm not going to mention that. c:

Early today, I just laid around, because I was compelety whipped. But today around seven we went to Laura's and Eddie's for the Bama vs. Tech game. It waas crazy. I did make this kickass alabama bow.

And Yana acually let me take a picture of us, usually shes like NONONONONO! NO PICTURES! which she said right after I took this,

Which is pretty decent, which excites me.

At the party, my dad kept putting the virginia tech and alabama gnomes in awkard sex possitions. LIke in the ass and then he used a barbie doll, which was aboutly hilerous and everyone started cracking up.

I had a nice conversation with Paul's new girlfriend, Jessie? I think her name is. We talked about school and how it is starting soon and who my teachers are and such. Then we start talking 'bout the beach and how I drew on Paul's face while he was sleeping. I told her about Yana drew a "portirate" of him and drew one big line for his eyebrows so I drew a unibrow on him and other things c;
She said that when he got back from the beach He got upset with her not saying anything about how his eyebrows needed to be plucked. ahaha, it was aboutly amazign to hear that, because Paul is one of the most Vain ppl I've ever met. It made me giggle c:

Now Jana is rushing me to get out of room because she is tired. So I leave and gett to doing things I need to do.
LIke figuring out what to wear on the first day of school.
Which I need to do today or tomorrow.
or maybe put my binders together. which i need to do, including cleaning my hamster cage but we need bedding.

So hopefully we shall connect later, aloha<3

Since December...

...not that I have any friends on Buzznet (or any that care anyway).

I haven't been logging on here. I lost interest for a bit, especially with all the fighting and arguing that was going on when I left.  I assume that has stopped now?

I have been home in Alabama since December.  I go back to L.A. in about 3 weeks.  I'm so excited for that!  We're leaving for Vegas as soon as Nicole picks me up from the airport though. haha

Since I've been home, I started taking online classes at Arizona State working towards my master's degree.  I will be moving to AZ in the summer months.  We're tripping it down there a few times in April/May so I can look for places and scope it out... and hang out with Crash Coordinates!

I think being here was good for me the past three months, despite how bored I was the majority of the trip.  I didn't have any distractions, so I've been doing exceptionally well in my classes.  I also found the time and passion to put into my web site/music zine, POPTHRILLER.COM.  Before I leave, I want to at least lay the foundation for a print edition that we can give away at Warped Tour and various places.  I also want to put together a mixtape [digital] and organize a benefit concert for Invisible Children or some other charity this summer.  Anyone know a venue in SoCal that will let us do it for free or really, really cheap?

Chea!

Soo, I went last night and pre-ordered for the Twilight soundtrack.  It comes out on November 4th, I think.  It was pretty.. Quiet.  Not many people were out because of the Alabama football game, I guess.  I talked to this one girl for a long time.  I was going to say bye to her, but she ran off somewhere.  They have old school Power Ranger T's there! They are so awesome.  Must.  Get.  One.  Or two.

I was going to get a Nightmare billfold to match my purse, but..  I didn't have enough money.  I got the soundtrack and a Pikachu T-Shirt (which is really cute).  When I got home I found out that I did, infact, have enough money for the billfold.  That is why I need one! I had all my money stuffed in my bag and couldn't find the other $20 I had.  Oh well, I'll get it some other time.

My mom got me Jack Skellington fingerless gloves.  xD

Our AC/Heater isn't working in the house.  It's pretty cold here, so we won't need the AC.  We need to get it fixed before it gets freezing or we're going to get frostbite.  Alabama doesn't get that cold anyway, I'm not worried.  I would love for it to snow this year.  That's why I want to move up north; to actually see some snow.

Anyhoo.  I need to get dressed.  I've been sitting here for an hour fooling around editing Xanga.

I love my Witch Slippers.<3

Cheers.
- Sierra.

Hoping to keep my house...

...and everything inside. As a local resident to what we love to call "Hurricane Lane" I'm taking all the normal precautions in regards to the appraoching storm that is sure to deal a heavy blow to my beloved bay. The only difference this year...

...my house is up for grabs...

So, loves, please say a little something for me and everyone else down here that we make it through this series of last minute storm surges of the 2008 Hurricane Season. We've been lucky the last few years...will it last? (It's like a bad movie tag line that you can't help but ask...)

I'm hopeful...but I'm also worried about my beloved town of NoLa...they say she can't handle another one...they say she won't survive another big hit...why can't we just lift her out of the trenches and place her safely on dry land!? NOLA!!!

Anyways, just stopping by to say hello! I'll be posting pictures of the storm and the aftermath so be on the look out for exclusive damage reports!!!

Night of the twisters.

Wow, this is really hard to type. I live in northern Mississippi, right outside Memphis, and even though my city didn't really get effected or receive the bulk of the damage that ensued last night, it's still pretty heart breaking to turn on your local news and see beautiful Tennessee communities completely destroyed.

Last night five southern states experienced the worst weather that had been seen around these parts in 23 years. There's not yet been a confirmation on just how many tornadoes touched down, and so far 54 people have died. Last night around 11 or 11:30 a natural gas plant that was located about an hour from the Nashville metropolitan area was struck by a twister and erupted into flames that were over 400 feet high. Over 1100 Union University students are now out of housing becuase their dormitories were destroyed, along with all of their personal belongings and their cars. This morning aerial pictures from above Denmark, TN were broadcasted on the BCC News Network, basically, the entire town has been destroyed. You can read full stories and view photos of the damage here and here.

xoxo,
October Elizabeth

September 26, 2007

new.

soo. i'm new to buzznet.
add me and all that junk. uh, hamburger helper bacon cheeseburger macaroni is the best macaroni ever. haha, i haven't had a journal in a few years so it's hard to think of something interesting to write.
well, i'm looking for a job, i just lost mine. meh. and i'm moving out to Alabama for school Nov. 1st, so i really need to be making cash, asap. if not, i'm gonna have to leave Dec. 1st. blah.
i was just out in Alabama this past weekend, and it was amazing. and seeing Matt was amazing. he's amazing really. and i'm ridiculously lucky.
oh, i just remembered. i leave for tour with The Acacia Strain, Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, Full Blown Chaos, Despised Icon, and Implosive Disgorgence (i'm doing merch for Implosive) Dec. 1st, so going on the tour which ends back in Florida then having to pack all my crap then head to Alabama is going to be mad annoying... so i really need to have enough $$ by Nov. 1st so i can already be moved and settled in, then leave for tour without any worries. I need like, 8 jobs right now, hahaha. hopefully i can get this hair salon job i'm applying for tomorrow.
I really am dying to get that dermal anchor by my eye, hopefully i can before i move. so tight on money, so i doubt it. I gotta save money to go see Matt when he gets back home from recording, and take a security deposit and application fee for the apartment i end up choosing.
ugh.
so much to do, so little time.

-e.

Christmas in Dixie

The week of Christmas,  I made  the 14 hour drive leaving  Tulsa and arrived safely in the land that time forgot. My first stop, Opelika Alabama.

Opelika, is the mill and industrial town that joins Auburn to form a wad of RR tracks, traffic lights and stores known as TIGER COUNTRY.  I suspect most people are vaguely aware of Auburn University and the football team that manages to play on TV quite frequently....Opelika is an Indian name, I'm sure it must mean something like:  "shut up and eat your Oatmeal". My fondest memory of the town has to be  Sally Fields  as a mill-worker in: Norma Raye. I believe much of the film was created in Opelika. I sure hope things have improved for those in the Textile Industry. Most likely many of the jobs Sally fought so hard to protect have moved to China.

The Holiday Inn and Churches Fried Chicken sold in the filling station next door made for an excellent ending to a long day of driving.

I decided not to continue on to Columbus as the 30 minute drive would push me into Eastern time. I had no interest in losing that hour. The morning would come soon enough and no trip through Opelika would be complete without a visit to Angel's Flea Market. Angel is the keeper of a fascinating world of booths and displays filling an old grocery store. It would be easy to spend hours within the walls.

NEVER HAVE SO MANY WHO HOLD TO THE PAST SO FEIRCELY BE WILLING TO LET GO OF IT FOR A FAIR PRICE.
