'The Heroin Diaries' and AA?
So I started reading the Heroin Diaries. Or did I listen to the soundtrack first?
Either way I can't help but remember the dozens of AA meetings I've
been forced to go to, sit through, listen too.
Even some of the Cd's.
Why don't those douches [no offence if you're an AA fan]
do something more like this?
The soundtrack is like one of their cds, only
put to music. And really now, doesn't everyone prefer music
to some monotone, lame voice?
And the book? Well it's better than any
story I've ever heard from one of their speakers.
Anyhow. Props to the book, and the album.
Even if I'm not anti [or] pro drugs...
It's extremely moving.
I think anyone that hasn't
given it a read, listen, or thought
should reconsider their apathy.
