Jared Leto appears on stage to collect the award and My Chemical Romance play live….

American Rockers 30 Seconds To Mars won the Rock Out Award, beating Evanescence, Fall Out Boy, Linkin Park and performers My Chemical Romance.

On stage collecting the gong Leto, the actor and former boyfriend of Cameron Diaz, called a member of his band on stage to tell them they lost the award.

Nominees in the same category My Chemical Romance performed at the EMAs singing Teenagers.

Gerard Way’s band were joined on stage by dancing punters and cheerleaders wearing cute outfits and, bizarrely, gas masks.

didn't even see this one before! As far as calling Shannon on stage, he's a smart-ass (why I love him - my twinner!!) but I hope that was an inside joke between them that he'd do something like that.... -- has anyone heard why Jared was the only one at this award show? - They always go to these together.... Oh well, at least they won - that's the most important thing!
As for MCR, their dancers would've been dressed this way since it's how they appear in the video for the song... I just wish I hadn't missed the show!! :(
