so, is this just like, a form of interperative dance?
i'm still lost on what it is exactly..
winterguard?
what are they guarding? do they only guard it durring the winter?

ha ha ha! this made me laugh. :] you know colorguard? with the marching band and stuff? well this is colorguard without the band, it's inside, there's a big giant floor, and its performed to an actual song.

we don't have a color guard. we're not cool enough. but i know of some schools that have one. it's intense looking!
so do you study dance as well? or did you learn all of this through colorguard and winterguard?
it just kinda reminds me of a cross between interperative dance and rythym gymnastics.

yeah. dance is like the foundation of the whole thing. we spend about an hour and 15 minutes going over dance stuff before we work on our show. it's actually really hard. you have to think about everything all the time.

oh. no i didn't. it would definitely help though if you were to get into something like winterguard but its not necessary. it depends. but the dancing part is really fun once you've got the basics.
