Yellowcard Come Out of Retirement for Acoustic ShowYellowcard is back from the dead, proving that just because a band goes on hiatus, it doesn't mean that they are done for good.
![]() "Hey everybody! Got some good news ... Ryan [Mendez], Sean [Mackin] and myself are coming to Logan, UT on September 30th, 2008, for an acoustic performance. We will be playing songs from all of the records and we haven't played a show in a few months so we are really looking forward to it! The show will be at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum on the campus of Utah State University. Doors are at 6:00pm and show starts at 6:30pm. Tickets will be available September 1st, and as soon as we have the link for purchase we will post it here. Hope to see all of our fans in Utah at the show!" singer Ryan Key posted in a recent MySpace blog. Back in April, Key broke the hiatus news during an interview with online college paper The Minaret. "We really don't have any plans. We are calling it an "Indefinite Hiatus." After this tour, so, I don't know. It could be a year, 10 years, or 6 months. It's been an interesting time in this business and our record label. It's just. We kind of need a break," Key explained. Looks like the break is over ... but do you think it's too soon!? Yellowcard released their third full-length, Paper Walls, back in 2007.
