'Twilight' Soundtrack Toting Paramore, Muse, Linkin Park

Last week Paramore fans squealed over their first listen to 'Decode,' the band's new song penned specifically for the movie Twilight. While there has been speculation based on author Stephanie Meyer's preferred playlists while she writes the novels, this morning Chop Shop Records/Atlantic Records confirmed the full track list.

Muse - "Supermassive Black Hole"
Paramore - "Decode"
The Black Ghosts - "Full Moon"
Linkin Park - "Leave Out All the Rest"
MuteMath - "Spotlight" ("Twilight" mix)
Perry Farrell - "Going All the Way (Into the Twilight)"
Collective Soul - "Tremble for My Beloved"
Paramore - "I Caught Myself "
Blue Foundation - "Eyes on Fire"
Rob Pattinson - "Never Think"
Iron & Wine - "Flightless Bird, American Mouth"
Carter Burwell - "Bella's Lullaby"

First off, notice Paramore has two songs-- along with them, Muse and Linkin Park are probably carrying this disc. Thirdly, Collective Soul WTF? And may I echo that sentiment for MuteMath, Blue Foundation and Iron & Wine. The oh-so-dazzling Rpatzz has a song on the album, obvs.

Kind of weird, no? Whatever. Thanks to iTunes, I don't have to purchase entire albums. If you think this list is a far cry from the undead, take a look at Gwen's Vamp-themed mixtape for a bloodsucking good time.

FBR buddy director Shane Drake will be working with Paramore on their music video for "Decode." Sit tight!

Hnyway. I think she rambles too much about how Muse (+ other bands) is her inspiration and shit. oh and I really want to hear Robert sing. That's not something I think he did.

while i don't say that their decisions are always right
they do keep the peace

and if you don't like how things are run
you can get out
because

join their forums and discussions
you adhere to the rules or you get kicked out
it's like that in any place you go

welcome to the real world

also,
i detest the so called indie genre of music. so therefore, i hate that the paramore and linkin park songs are padded out by crappy bands like iron and wine and the black ghost. stephenie meyer's original playlist was a lot better for it. (but i do love decode :)

I think that Linkin Park is on here because it's the C.D. that Bella got for her birthday, or something like that. The author is also a big fan of Muse.

Its actually the c.d her step-dad gives her but not for her bday.
I love the bands chosen for the soundtrack but I for some odd reason I thought they would have Muse doing "Time is Running Out" I think that fits a bit more, don't ya think?
