Buzznet has caught up with Rivers Cuomo of Weezer to play a little game of word association. You know, the game where we say something and Rivers responds with the first thing that comes to his (very special) mind.

When we threw out the term "Katy Perry," the first thing that came to Rivers' mind was the studio. Rivers informed us that he and the cherry Chapstick-loving pop star will be hitting the recording studio next week to write and possibly record material for her new album! Rivers, said, "We're writing together next week. Can't wait!"
