A week after Buzznet announced that an Australian artist named Natascha Stellmach was planning to smoke Kurt Cobain's ashes in an upcoming artist exhibit, Courtney Love's publicist has come forward to announce that Stellmach does not has the ashes in her possession.



According to The Pulse of Radio, publicist Alan Nierob claims that Cobain's ashes were 'never stolen' and that a story this year claiming they were taken from Love's home, along with clothes and jewelry was 'erroneously reported.' Stellmach originally confirmed that Cobain's ashes would be smoked through a spliff (a joint, also known as a marijuana cigarette) on October 11 at Berlin's Wagner + Partner gallery and Stellmach explained that its purpose it to 'symobillically "set free" Cobain from the media circus.'

Stellmach hasn't come forward to confirm or deny Nierob's allegations. Do you believe Stellmach lied about the ashes to attract an audience or is Nierob lying to convince people not to attend and witness the unstoppable spectacle?

Meanwhile, Love is currently searching for both a maid for her home and a PA for her upcoming biopic on Cobain ... Just don't steal anything!
