Paramore Go 'Twilight' Crazy With Music For the Soundtrack and Other Surprises

Yesterday, Buzznet announced that Paramore would be recording a new song for the "Twilight" soundtrack. Today, the name of the song has been revealed along with some news that will make every Paramore fan go crazy.



According to MTV, Paramore has recorded both "Decode" and an untitled second song for the movie's soundtrack, which hits stores on November 4. The band will be shooting a music video for "Decode," that will be released in early November.

"I chose the title 'Decode' because the song is about the building tension, awkwardness, anger and confusion between ['Twilight' characters] Bella and Edward. Bella is the only mind Edward can't read, and I feel like that's a big part of the first book and one of the obstacles for them to overcome. It's one added tension that makes the story even better," singer Hayley Williams explained to MTV.

And now for the million dollar question ... So does Williams prefer "Twilight" over "Harry Potter?"

 "'Twilight' is the first series of books I've ever read. I didn't get into the 'Harry Potter' series, even though I love the movies," Williams said in a statement. " 'Twilight' really caught my attention and held it. I'm really excited to see the book adapted to film and excited that our band gets to be a part of the phenomenon."

I read the books and I stopped half way through the last one...it just wasn't very good. I may see the movies, especially since Paramore is on the soundtrack. :P

wow. i can't believe you guys. the books are great. and i sure hope the movie is equally thrilling. :] especially since Stephenie Meyer was on the set a lot.

I really liked the first book even though everyone is turning twilight into like a name brand almost. The fact that Paramore is creating not one but two songs for it definately increases my wantage to go see the movie xD I love Paramore :3

the twilight series were really terribly written books and i don't think paramore is going to have anything to do with ticket sales. all of the people who have flocked to the twilight cult are going to see it, just like everyone who is big on harry potter goes and sees every film. i'll download the paramore songs, but i'm not going to go buy tickets to see twilight.

The first is always going to be the best.

cool how paramore did two songs, but I bet people will definately compare it to the movie. maybe "decode" will be the next "low".

ppl are maeking such a big deal out of it its not THAT great
i read ALL the books now and yes, i liked them. but sersiouly. there getting to much attention. there not that great. without edward noone would be reading them anyways

and paramore doesnt even fit in with twilight.

Okay..Twilight is offically the best movie in the world. I can't believe Paramore is recording a song for it, that's amazing.

i was really impressed when i first saw her with her septum piercing...
in my opinion i think it looks disgusting
and her face looks horryble with it..

i think that alot of twilight fans are already paramore fans, like me, so i don't see paramore's involvement with the movie making it any bigger.
i can't wait until the soundtrack come out, i'm just really excited, and hopefully these two songs will hold me over until the next album!
