The Killers to Collaborate With Living Legend on Christmas SongThe Killers will release their third Christmas single in three years this December. This time around, the song will be a collaboration between the band and a certain "Circle of Life"-singing English fellow.
![]() According to NME, Elton John (yes the Elton John) will be working with the band on "Joseph, Better You Than Me," although no music has been recorded at this moment. Currently, there is no word on where the song will be available for purchase, although it definately will not be on The Killers' thid full-length, Day and Age (due November 25). Never afraid to record a Christmas carol, The Killers released "Don't Shoot Me Santa" in 2007 and "A Great Big Sled" back in 2006 (both in the form of downloads with the proceeds going to charity), but can either of those tunes top a song with Sir Elton John on it!? We'll find out this holiday season. John has collaborated numerous times during his long career with artists ranging from John Lennon to Eminem. Meanwhile, The Killers collaborated with Lou Reed back in 2007 on the track "Tranquilize." Will The Killers / John Lennon collaboration be magical or do you think they two won't sound good together?

The Killers and Elton John will definitely be worth a listen.
