Billie Joe Armstrong The Reverend Strychnine Twitch, singer of the Foxboro Hot Tubs, has posted a tour update on the band's MySpace page — in his own hip lingo.



"Dear Tub Heads," the half-serious message began, "we just completed our debut [performance] at the dreamers bar called The Stork Club in our beloved Alameda County [Northern California; click to see photos from the gig]. Then we took our rated-PG-13-plus tax circus to Sugartown, California [well, Crockett, actually], at a joint called Toots Tavern around the corner from tight wad hill [a reference to the Green Day song of the same name] run by the Gomez family. Pabst [Blue Ribbon] was flowin' and everyone [was] on some serious octane, baby!

The band is performing tonight at Juanita's Cafe and Bar in Little Rock, Arkansas, "but when the Tubbies hit the scene, it's gonna be called 'A Lotta Rock.' That's what I'm talkin 'bout," Twitch said in the update.

"We wanna send some love out to my brohams Mommies Friend and those freaky sugar city sex monkeys by the name of Mystic Knights of the Cobra. ... And to all of those ready to see the Tubbies. ... Get all dressed up, come get down, wave your freak flag with the Foxboro Hot Tubs! Sting!!!!"

The band's debut release, Stop, Drop and Roll!!!, will hit stores on CD tomorrow and vinyl on June 24. The Foxboro Hot Tubs sure have come along way since Buzznet first broke the news to the world about their secret identity.
