Boys Like Girls and Good Charlotte Want to Spend the Summer With YouGenerations will collide this summer when Good Charlotte join Boys Like Girls as co-headliners on "The Soundtrack of Your Summer" tour. Metro Station and The Maine will serve as the opening acts for the entire tour, which begins July 8 in Chicago and winds down August 21 in Jackson, New Jersey.
![]() Boys Like Girls – whose recent tour with Avril Lavigne was cut short after Avril became ill with acute laryngitis – will still be touring in support of their 2006 self-titled debut. The band, which has a handful of dates before their co-headlining trek (see below), is also gearing up to shoot a video for its new single, "Thunder." Meanwhile, Good Charlotte have been touring nonstop in support of their fourth full-length, 2007's Good Morning Revival, and just launched "Where Would We Be Now" as the record's fifth single.
