Fans are going nutty for the new Weezer single, "Pork and Beans," and the following might send them over the edge — The Red Album has a new release date of June 3. Originally scheduled for June 24, eight of the album's 10 tracks have already leaked online, which may have been part of the decision to push the record ahead three weeks.



Unfortunately there's some bad news to go along with the good, though. Do you remember the deluxe edition of The Red Album we reported on a few weeks back? Record collectors will be in tears — the deluxe edition will only be available digitally for the time being!

Meanwhile, a video for "Pork and Beans" was shot last week. Karl Koch, a.k.a. the Weezer.com Web master, spoke of his experience on the shoot: "Words are not really adequate to describe the things I saw those four fateful days. Suffice it to say that rules were broken and boundaries were pushed back! This video should be out sometime in the coming weeks. More details as they become available."
