Johansson to make sweet sweet music with legend



Were you on the fence about picking up actress Scarlett Johansson's debut album Anywhere I Lay My Head? Two collaborations with a music legend might help you finalize your decision!

David Bowie, yes you read that correctly, will be rapping singing on not one but two tracks - Fannin Street and Falling Down. The album features ten Tom Waits covers and will be released this May in the U.S. No originals are planned to appear on the album. I guess that song she wrote about me is a B-side track.

Billboard claims that Johansson asked Bowie to appear on the album after meeting him at a party.  I think he contacted her and asked if he could sing on her record because he loved her work in Lost in Translation and Home Alone 3. Could Johansson be the next big thing in music? Post your thoughts in the comments below!

As much as I love Scarlett, I just don't think I can approve of this. Please, for the love of God, leave the MUSIC to the MUSICIANS! Just like yesterday, I could have sworn I saw a Brittney Murphy video on Fuse. It was one of the background videos on Pants Off Dance Off. Has anyone heard of this? Or was I dreaming?

nope you werent dreaming, she did some song with a dj awhile ago. Ive seen it on Pants Off Dance Off too and a few other channels.

i think brittney murphy can actually sing. have you heard faster kill pussycat with paul oakenfold? great dance track. she came to hollywood for a music career before starting acting.

she working with all these big names, but i dont think she has the vocals to back it up. there are alot more talented singers out there waiting for a break!

OK...thanks for clearing that up for me. :) I'm sorry but after the whole Lindsay Lohan and Hillary Duff catastrophes, I'm done with the actress gone rock star thing. Like I said, leave the MUSIC to the REAL MUSICIANS.

I know it! I would KILL to work with David Bowie. I'm getting closer to it though. lol Maybe not with David Bowie, but possibly some other people. *crosses fingers*

i'm pretty sure scarlett can actually sing though
i remember when she hosted saturday night live and one of the skits she was in involved her singing a little bit, and it wasn't excruatingly painful, surprisingly enough....
who knows how it'll be...guess we'll just have to wait.

Ah, so this is the album she refused to let Patrick Stump sing on with her. Supposedly she was like "Oh no, I hate Fall Out Boy" fair enough I suppose.
