Led Zeppelin singer disses Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers

Radiohead and Red Hot Chili Peppers may be two of rock's biggest bands but that doesn't mean that every music lover is a fan. You won't see legendary singer Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin at either of their concerts or buying their records.

An unknown source told The Sun that they overheard Plant bashing Radiohead to a women he was drinking with as their music played in the background. ‘What’s this rhyming c**p?,’ Plant exclaimed. Do Led Zeppelin songs not rhyme?

The staff changed the music to Red Hot Chili Peppers which Plant disliked just as much! Plant refered to their music as a ‘nursery rhyme.’ I honestly agree.

So what did Plant want to hear that night? The Killers? Panic! at the Disco? Paramore?

None of the above. The correct answer is Captain Beefheart (ask your parents).

He was a true performer and knew how to give the people what they expected at a show....thier money's worth.

Only a handful of bands can. What Robert says, goes. He knows what hes talking about when it comes to music so anyone who disagrees can suck a fat one. Old? I speak for Robert, myself, and everyone else that knows the qualities of a GOOD musician when i say, dude, kiss my ass. All of you need to get real. Led Zeppelin forever!
	darklila: 01/25/2008 4:00 PM zeppelin is one of my favorite bands of all time and robert plant has every right to his opinion. sometimes certain music can grate on your nerves. i feel the same way about country and most top 40 pop. it makes me want to scrape out my eardrums with a rusty spork! and it's not like he put out a statement bashing other bands, he was just overheard stating what he thought was crap. besides... alchohol lubricates honesty.
