Green Day Working With Lil Jon???

Lil Jon is currently working on his first solo album, "Crunk Rock".

According to Black Voices Blogs, the project will feature collaboratons with Good Charlotte, Ciara, Lil Wayne, R.Kelly, Three 6 Mafia, Rick Rubin, Green Day, and Korn's Jonathan Davis.

Green Day have done collaborations before.  For example, the full band provided the music on two songs off the Iggy Pop record, "Skullring" and singer Billie Joe Armstrong sang back vocals on a song with The Go-Gos and a song with Ryan Adams.

No word yet on what any of the collaborations will sound like, however, Lil Jon did just set the Guinness World Record for the Largest Diamond Pendant.

Humm...I'm not sure about what I think about those collabortations, or whether I look forward to them or not....probably not.
What impresses me more is the World's Largest Diamond Pendant....how big was that?? =]

I'm surprised such amazing artists like Green Day would agree to work with a weird rapper who set the record for the biggest diamond pendant. Rap sucks and this is kinda a weird thing for Green Day to do. I hope this isn't true.

Noooo, why? Why is everyone working with these urban? artists. No offence to them though, but I honestly think they should stick to their own music..

lauriee: "urban" is a euphemism. Anyways, I think that there have been some songs like this that I've hated (this ain't a scene remix w/ Kanye), but I can't really keep an open mind. I hate Lil Jon, plus he's not technically a rapper.
