Lily Allen Knew She'd Lose At Brit Awards

If you ever receive the honor of being nominated for an award, you would hope for the best right?

Singer Lily Allen, who was nominated in four different categories at the 2007 Brit Awards, went home empty handed. However, Stereogum reports that she expected not to win and has a theory why.

Before the award show took place, Allen spoke with MTV UK about her conspiracy, even betting them money that she wouldn't win anything.

Allen was quoted as saying, "The judging committee are all industry insiders and they're predominantly from Universal (Records) - and I'm on EMI. I think you'll find that 70% of the artists here tonight are on Universal. "I'll leave you with that..."

Could she be right? Is the judging bias? What do you think?
