The Jonas Brothers Meet the Yankees, Talk Britney Spears

Buzznet spent the day with the Rolling Stone cover-boys and tween heartthrobs the Jonas Brothers in NYC on Saturday, August 16th. Read on for details on their youngest brother Frankie, the new 'Jonas' show and the boys meeting their favorite baseball player!

Buzznet rode along for the ride as the brothers took to the field to watch the New York Yankees taking batting practice at Yankee stadium. Sporting Yankees ballcaps, Kevin, 20, Joe, 18, and Nick, 15, toured the stadium in the company of Yankees staff.

They were also accompanied by the newest superstar in the Jonas dynasty - Frankie Jonas, 7. Frankie is a burgeoning musician in his own right, and he's affectionately known as "The Bonus Jonas."

The boys, who said that they were longtime Yanks fans, also got to meet some of their favorite players - including star player Derek Jeter. See here for a full gallery of Jonas Brothers at Yankees Stadium.

Buzznet was also able to spend a minute with Felicia Culotta, who is working as the Jonas' personal assistant. Culotta is famous for being Britney Spears' former assistant for nine years.

Culotta told us that she still keeps in touch with Britney, and that she's "doing great." The tour has 20-something former Britney tour employees, including famed bodyguard Big Rob - who has become almost as popular with Jonas fans as the teens themselves.

Big Rob and "Bonus Jonas" Frankie will star in their upcoming TV series, according to the brothers. They begin filming in September after their tour.

At the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ - Buzznet got to see what life is like backstage on their "Burning Up Tour 2008." 24 buses and trucks spirit the Jonas Bros and the 100 people that accompany them around the country, including  their family, band, crew, caterers, roadies, and everyone else in their growing empire.

The Verizon Mobile Recording Studio is one of the many buses that accompany the Jonas Brothers on their tour. The bus has been used in the past by Pearl Jam, Black Eyed Peas, and Timbaland. Madonna reportedly recorded her part of the "Four Minutes" single on it.

It was verified that the Jonas boys, whose new album 'A Little Bit Longer' just dropped this week, are working on recording a fourth album on the bus. With 5 songs already complete, these songs could either be used in their new television show or for their next album.

When Buzznet spoke exclusively with the boys, we learned what designer made Nick's blue shoes, how they feel about their gigantic success since being dumped by Columbia Records, and what their plans are for the VMA'S. They also give their opinion on Britney Spears. Watch the video for details.

The Jonas Brothers love their fans so much, they have dedicated 1 of their 10 tour buses for fans to sign with posters, love notes, messages (and phone numbers). 'Tween girls are no joke!

The boys took to the stage to the loudest screaming that Buzznet has ever heard. The Jonas Brothers took to the stage in a burst of fire and lasers (Metallica has reportedly contacted the boys about their use of pyrotechnics), and their fans sang along to every single word.

The new album 'A Little Bit Longer' is now in stores. The brothers and their entourage of 10 buses and hundreds of production peeps will be traveling through August wrapping up the Jonas Brothers' Summer Tour 2008.

I almost met them at the NYC Virgin Megastore album signing when they released the new CD. I must say some of their fans are over doing it a little. :x But JB has good music, I suppose.

i dont think the jonas brothers suck..they cant help who their fans are..and yeaa i do agree the fans are insane..but thats not their fault..i think the jonas brothers are really good..but i think they have let ttheir fame go to their heads a little bit and i hate when that happens to bands. but overall i think they're good and they're really cute but i wish they would drop the whole disney thing..its so annoying lol. i dont know why people hate them so much though.
The Jonas Brothers suck and their fans (the crazy ones, no offense normal ones) should belong in an Insane Asylum. NUFF SED.
