Whether you love or hate the self-anointed Queen of the Internet, you can always count on Jeffree Star for a solid dose of sassy hilarity. So with Warped Tour now officially under way, who better than to cut the ribbon?



Jeffree needs no introduction to the Buzznet masses, although it'll be fun to see the expressions on the faces of some of the Warped-goers who aren't familiar with the flamboyant Star. The "boyfriend thief" will be on the trek starting today in Pomona, California, and ending June 29 in Denver, so buckle up.

Buzznet: Share some highlights, good or bad, of past Warped Tours you've played or attended.

Jeffree Star: It's so great to be able to see all your favorite bands in one day, but for me, it takes work not to melt in the heat. I spend a lot of times hiding under umbrellas and applying sunscreen so I stay ghost-white. My favorite part is being able to see all my friends that I hardly get to see because they're always on tour.

Buzznet: Which bands are you most looking forward to seeing perform? Who do you think will blow up after Warped?

Star: I'm really excited to see Cobra Starship, Gym Class, Pierce the Veil and I, of COURSE, can't wait to look in a mirror while I play.

Buzznet: What will you be doing to kill time on the tour bus?

Star: Smoking crack, delivering babies and posing like Malibu Barbie at any chance I get ... haha, no really, I'll be sleeping a lot because Warped can wear you out if you don't get sleep and take care of yourself. But of course I'll be going to the parties every day and sleeping with your favorite bands who have girlfriends at home.

Buzznet: What's the best way to cure the heat while touring with Warped?

Star: Not going outside and staying on Buzznet all day in the bus.

Buzznet: How has Warped evolved over the years in your opinion?

Star: Read my Warped Tour blog and you'll know how I feel! Haha.

Buzznet: List a few items on your rider that we might not expect.

Star: Strawberries and whipped cream, Magnum condoms and MAC lipglass.

Buzznet: Do you have anything unusual planned for your set, whether it be cover songs, tracks you normally don't play?

Star: Yes ... I'll actually be playing four new songs that hardly anyone has heard. I can't wait to see how the crowd responds.

Buzznet: Are you planning any props, backdrops, screens or anything else in terms of stage setup?

Star: No, I don't need any distractions from ME.

Buzznet: What's the best part about playing Warped?

Star: Being able to get your music out to so many people at once and get f---ing brutal! Everyone is always so passionate and willing to actually HAVE fun instead of stand around and act bored, like people do at L.A. shows ...

Buzznet: Any tips for people going for the first time?

Star: Drink lots of water and give me your dad's number.
