Yes, you heard it people of Buzznet. Jack's Mannequin and the one and only author of the best selling Twilight series Stephenie Meyer will be working together. Meyer will be making her directorial debut on Jack's Mannequin's new music video for "The Resolution" off of Jack's Mannequin's upcoming album The Glass Passenger (hitting shelves on September 30).

Before you get too excited, note that there will be no guest appearances by any vampires in the video. Andrew McMahon (singer/songwriter for Jack's Mannequin) has dropped several hints about the video to MTV in an article that you can read at MTV.com. He mentions that there will be a lot of water, and that there may be a mermaid? As if we weren't all curious enough!

How did these two talented artists come together? Most of you Twilight fans know that Stephenie Meyer makes it widely known that she is very inspired by music. She has dropped Jack's Mannequin's name several different places including the back a few books in the Twlight saga as inspiration. The word spread to Andrew McMahon who then contacted Stephenie Meyer. The final product is due for release in September. This epic collaboration shocked me (to say the least), but apparently it was something many fans have been waiting for.
