Hey, Hey, You, You, I’m Still Married to My Boyfriend: Avril Lavigne Stays SolidIt’s been a royally whacked-out couple of months for a certain mf’ing princess. First, Avril canceled a batch of dates on her Best Damned Thing headline tour, and instead opted to open for Disney phenom the Jonas Brothers and American Idol phenom Chris Daughtry. And in case that wasn’t enough, she recently found herself battling tabloid reports about the supposed implosion of her marriage! Drag, right? Sometimes not even a sale at Kohl’s can make things better. ![]() Anyhow, Avril — with what do you know, her prince — appeared on stage last night as part of her private gig, the Nokia Productions Premiere. The singer’s hubby and Sum-41 front man Deryck Whibley performed a song or two on stage with his rock and roll wifey. Rumors that the kids were splitting up seem to have originated on The National Enquirer, and somehow made it all the way to a blast at TMZ. THIS IS THE NATIONAL ENQUIRER WE’RE TALKING ABOUT HERE, PEOPLE. Not exactly known for credibility. Anyway, a post on Absolutepunk.net cleared the air, directing fans to a myspace blog post containing official statements from Whibley who claimed that the split tales were nothing but "totally false gossip." The artist also added that he could “not believe so many media sources picked up the story." Me neither Deryck. Me neither. To further clear things up, Splash News snapped the couple walking hand-in-hand while dining in Los Angeles before last night’s performance. Now that we’ve sorted out all the gossip, lets take a look at what else went down at Los Angeles Nokia Theater last night: Avril looked STUNNING in just a pink and white striped polo shirt (View live photos from the show in our featured photo gallery) What was everyone else wearing? Check out the Buzznet’s fan-fashion gallery here. ![]() But maybe the coolest part — to be fair — had nothing to do with whether Avril likes your boyfriend or not. It was about free expression. Nokia and Spike Lee debuted what they billed as the first social film, created entirely with content recorded and and uploaded from Nokia phones by YOU. Well, maybe not YOU, but a bunch of people just like you. Nokia Productions debuted the film2.0 at the event, and you can see the trailer at their website. Finally, of course, everyone has to keep up with everyone else – so they hosted a Mobile Guitar Hero competition, open to all attendees. I didn’t even know they had Guitar Hero for cell phones, but apparently everyone else did. The competition was pretty intense, and check out how stoked the winners were! ![]() Add your favorite Avril Lavigne songs to your Buzznet Music Library, and don’t forget to live vicariously through us – view the concert gallery.
