Forever The Sickest Kids Become the Sickest Directors For Their New Music Video

Were you displeased with Forever The Sickest Kids' low-budget music video for "She's a Lady" that surfaced online this past Sunday? The band has confirmed that the video we saw is not official ... and a high-budget one is on its way!

In a recent MySpace blog, drummer Kyle Burns posted a photo of the band, followed by the caption:"BOOM! Yea that is us FILMING OUR OWN MUSIC VIDEO for 'She's a Lady' (p.s. no it's not the one on You Tube already ... haha)."

And why exactly is FTSK filming their own music video? Shouldn't the professionals be doing that? "The label told us a month ago it was time to shoot another music video! They asked us who we wanted to direct it, produce it, shoot it ... blah, blah, blah," Kyle explained.

Burns then proceeded to post an actual e-mail interaction (is that legal!?) between the record label and the band.

The record label wrote:

Hey dudes,
We want to get your ideas for a video shoot for "She's a Lady." Directors? Concepts? Locations?
The budget will be around $250K
Let us know ASAP!

The Kids responded:

What it do family
Send us the check and we'll shoot the video ourselves. We'll start ASAP. thanks!

"Hahaha soooo. ... WE SHOT IT! (the check was actually way more than that... we edited it way down for this blog)," Burns declared. There is currenlty no release date for the video.

With a budget of $250K, do you think FTSK will turn around an incredible music video?  How would you create the "She's a Lady" video if you were given that budget.

FTSK has been keeping busy lately. The band will grace the cover of Novembers's Alternative Press Magazine and will hit the road next month on the "Sassy Back Tour" with Cobra Starship in support of their 2008 debut full-length, Underdog Alma Mater.

Click a date below and tell us if you are going to a show! Or if there is a show you want to go to!

After you get home from the concert, be sure to come back to the Sassy Back Tour community, click the date of the show you attended and share all your photos! The best of the best photos will be featured throughout Buzznet & Friends Or Enemies!

If giving away free tickets wasn't cool enough ... Buzznet and FOE have teamed up with Live Nation to also offer the chance to be Cobra’s rock photographer on October 30th, so after you enter to win tickets on Buzzent also head over and enter to win a trip for 2 to LA to shoot Cobra.
