EXCLUSIVE: Reel Big Fish Singer Reveals Title, Guest Vocals on Upcoming RecordReel Big Fish announced this week via MySpace bulletin that their seventh full-length will be released on Jan. 22, but only Buzznet has exclusive details on the record from Mr. Aaron Barrett himself.
![]() "It's, like, our most ska-punk album ever. It's called Fame, Fortune and Fornication, Barrett revealed to Buzznet's own DJ Rossstar this afternoon. "There's a cover of [Poison's] "Talk Dirty To Me" with guest vocals from Tatiana DeMaria from U.K. punk band TAT ... Press release on Monday!" This wouldn't be the first time Reel Big Fish has collaborated with a female vocalist. On their 1996 record, Turn the Radio Off, Monique Powell of Save Ferris sang vocals on "She Has A Girlfriend Now" and in 2007, the band released a split EP of covers with Zolof The Rock & Roll Destroyer, Duet All Night Long, featuring duets between Barrett and Zolof singer Rachel Mintz. Reel Big Fish released their latest full-length, Monkeys For Nothin' and the Chimps For Free, back in 2007, as well, and spent this past summer playing the mainstage on Warped Tour. Looks like there's still a place in the music world for Reel Big Fish after all these years! Rock out to your favorite RBF songs on your MyMusic player by taking some from their song library. Are you excited for Reel Big Fish's new record? Do you still listen to ska? Is ska dead? If so, who killed it?
