Before Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift's big moment at the Video Music Awards, he chugged freely from a bottle of spirits on the red carpet outside. Was he feeling a little extra loose when he stormed the stage?

West has rarely been one to keep his opinions to himself, so his sudden interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech wasn't totally without precedent. But given West's partying outside, it's not out of the question to think he might've been feeling a little extra courage inside Radio City Music Hall. In this video, West takes a swig or two from the bottle while chumming around with friends before shuffling down the carpet with girlfriend Amber Rose. 

West didn't say anything about being intoxicated when he blogged an apology to Swift hours later. But by then, the damage was done.
