Equal Vision Keeps Pop-Punk Alive With Latest Signing

Equal Vision Records has just signed a pop-punk band from SoCal who recently graced the music page of Buzznet after an appearance on DJ Rossstar's Punk Rock Show. Any guesses?

This Time Next Year (Walnut, CA represent!) will be joining the likes of Chiodos and The Color Fred as family members of Equal Vision and a recent press release reveals that the band already has plans to record their debut full-length, and followup to 2008's The Longest Way Home EP, with Brian McTernan (Senses Fail) on board as producer extraordinaire.

“EVR believes in us as much as we believe in ourselves and that's all we can ask for," guitarist Brad Wiseman explained in a recent press release. "Since day one they have shown a strong sense of belief in this band and have welcomed us with open arms into what we are proud to call our new home. We are extremely grateful of all they have done so far and all that's to come in the new year."

The band has a few shows planned in California this fall and will be performing at Subbteranean on December 20 in Chicago, Illinois at 2*Sweet's farewell show.
