Brace Yourselves: Limp Bizkit is Back From the DeadForget New Kids on the Block ... the reunion you have been waiting for is slowly approaching ... Limp Bizkit is coming
![]() "Hello my dear family members. Yes, it has been a while. But a while worth the wait. It is getting very close to time to drop the Bizkit on the universe. I say this with the absolute best intentions and motivation. We, Limp Bizkit, are excited about the future for us and for you. LBF is the way. LBF is for life. Let's stir some shit up my friends," singer Fred Durst declared in a recent MySpace blog. And if that bit of news isn't exciting enough, according to Metal Hammer, Terry Balsamo, formerly of Evanescence, will be taking Wes Borland's place as guitarist. Borland recently joined Marilyn Manson, while Sam Rivers, John Otto and DJ Lethal are still "rollin', rollin', rollin'" with Limp Bizkit. After breaking up in 2004, Limp Bizkit reformed and released an EP, The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1), back in 2005. Their Greatest Hitz record also came out that year. And although it may be cool nowadays to mock the Bizkit, I KNOW all of you were obsessed with "Nookie" and "Break Stuff" back in 1999. Do you think Limp Bizkit still have a place in the music world today? Would the band be better off changing their sound to appeal to today's mainstream? Can you imagine an emo/electro-pop Durst with long black hair and tight jeans? Oh, the possibilities ...
