Blood! Vampires! Paramore!?!

Paramore is working on a new song for a movie soundtrack that is sure to suck the life out of you ... and have you rock out at the same time.



"We are back home recording again for a possible shot at the 'Twilight' soundtrack. It's crazy to me that we've never actually recorded anything but demos in our hometown. It's nice to 'work' from home. If you can even consider this work," Hayley Williams wrote on the band's Live Journal blog. "Both our studio records were done in pretty random places ... Florida and Jersey. I guess Florida isn't that random considering we moved there to be close to Fueled by Ramen Records. That was before FBR blew up and got offices in NYC ... either way, it's nice to 'work' from home ... if you can even consider this work."

Currently, there is no info on a title or lyrics for the new Paramore song ... but at least you know it'll be out soon!

According to Kerrang!, the soundtrack will be out at the end of October and Muse is rumored to be re-doing their song "Supermassive Black Hole" for the soundtrack.

"Twilight" hits theaters on November 21 and who knows ... maybe Williams will make a cameo in the film herself!?

While I think it's a great opportunity for the band, Haley Williams is really not the female frontwoman I would have associated with Twilight.

After the Harry Potter flim set for this Winter was pushed back, lots of movies including Twilight got pushed forwards.

1. Paramore's first album was the soundtrack of the series, for me.
2. December 12 was right after my brithday so I wouldn't be able to go on opening night.

Well i was going to the movies this november the 2oth to see the premier of harry potter and the half blood prince but it´s moved to j uly i think. But now i can see twilight i nsteed, and it´s great!

I think Muse should be in every movie/ on every movie soundtrack about vampires. It just seems so fitting.

Sounds like a pretty sweet soundtrack. But I really don't like the hype about Stephenie Meyer. But I may just be bitter because I don't like her idea for the new Jack's Mannequin video. And that she only was one side to her: "forbidden love".

paramore is great, but i think more bands like flyleaf and tokio hotel, that are deeper, should be on the twilight soundtrack, since the books are so emotional ans such. also, i dont believe the movie will be as good, but since paramore is one of my favorite bands, this is an improvement.
