Best Moment of the 2008 VMAs?

With the 2009 VMAs coming up, it's time to recap last year's Video Music Awards, and vote on which moment was the best. Was it Britney Spears' major win? Jordin Sparks' major fail? Or Russell Brand reading his hatemail from the VMAs? You decide!

	Rihanna's Zombie Performance Rihanna kicked off the VMAs, performing her single, "Disturbia", along with a cover of the White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army", with a crowd of zombies.
	Britney's VMA wins Before last year, Britney had never won a VMA. In '08, she didn't perform, but she grabbed not one, not two, but three awards, including the award for Video of the Year. It was Britney's perfect way of saying "I'm back ya'll!"
	Jordin Sparks' "Defense" of Purity Rings Here's how it went down. Russell Brand did his opening monolgue, with a joke about the Jonas Brothers, saying he'd take their purity rings more seriously if they were "on their genitals". Jordin decided that if she said something about nothing, she'd get attention. Right when she was presenting a peformance of a song that includes lyrics about oral sex. Just sayin'.
	Russell Brand interrupts Robert Pattinson. Why did I even add this to the poll? Because the overreaction of the er, "fans" was hilarious! They took to MTV.com and ranted about it.
	Tokio Hotel make grand entrance, and win "Best New Artist" Um...I just gave the whole description in the title. Because people around here really like Tokio Hotel, right?
	Russell Brand reads his Death Threats While this didn't actually happen at the VMAs, it happened because of the VMAs. When Russell Brand dissed then-President George Bush, a few people got pissed. So, he read the death threats from these pissed people out loud for his audience during his stand-up act.

Though, my fave performance that night was actually Pink. ...and my favorite Russell Brand moment was when he and LL Cool J claimed they were going underwear shopping together.
