Look, I know supporting Hayley Williams slowly morphing into Gwen Stefani reduces my credibility on this issue just a bit, but you can still tell a Paramore song from a ND one when it filters through your headphones? But THIS song and video? Almost indiscernible. I'm not saying it's a bad song--I'm sure it'll get plenty of play at nightclubs and junk.

Where do you think the line between homage and plagiarism is crossed?

	elliesickles: 10/05/2009 3:03 PM if i had heard this on the radio, i might have thought it was britney. you can't try to be britney, okay? she's... hello, you just can't. no. it just... this is so, so, SO much like a video and song of britney spears, so similar to her musical and visual style, that i don't think it's possible for anyone to be unaware of it. which leads me to believe she is trying to imitate her, and like... you just can't try to copy an icon. especially not while said icon is in the middle of making a comeback. i mean, come on dude. don't do that.

This song sounds like a Britney song. I think Ashley could be good if she really tried to be her own person, but she seems to be trying a little too hard.
