AFI, Blink-182 Producer Jerry Finn Suffers Brain Hemorrhage; Taken Off Life Support

Legendary producer Jerry Finn has been taken off life support at the young age of 38. If the name sounds familiar, it's because he's worked with some of today's biggest rock bands, including Green Day, Blink-182 and AFI. Find out what unfortunate event led Finn into this terrible state.

According to Billboard, after suffering a massive brain hemorrhage last month, the decision to take Finn off life support was made this past Saturday. "Even though he did make snail-like improvement these past 31 days, he is not any better for words and has not had any consistency in the tests that the medical team have done for him," a close friend of Finn explained on the morrissey-solo.com forum (Finn helped produce Morrissey's upcoming record titled Years of Refusal). "At this time the hemorrhage has done massive damage to his body which will leave him severely disabled and in need of acute care for the rest of his life. We know Jerry wouldn't want to live like this in a vegetative state."

Here is a list of some of the records Finn has worked on that you probably own:

Green Day - Dookie, Insomniac, International Superhits!
Blink-182 - Enema of the State, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket, untitled, Greatest Hits
AFI - Sing the Sorrow, Decemberunderground
Rancid - ... And Out Come the Wolves, Life Won't Wait
+44 - When Your Heart Stops Beating

It's not easy to deliver bad news and we wish everyone in Finn's family the absolute best.

Umm?! Yes they are! Who are you to say they aren't? They were voted rock's biggest name in 06' for their hit "Miss Murder". OBVIOUSLY they are recognized.
