Street Boners: A Book of 1,764 Hipster Fashion Jokes

Gavin McInnes, the former lord of Vice Magazine’s Do’s and Dont’s, left the magazine he co-founded in early 2008 to launch his own site, Street Carnage, a land where his guerilla street photo style mockery could run free and where friends like Lesley Arfin, Jen Hanley, and Jonny Makeup can let their biting hilarity spill forth into the interweb like so much oil into the ocean (but you know, in a good way). Our very own Buzznet editor Aviva is also a contributor (check out her amazing Boner Killers piece). The Street Boners section of the site is reminiscent to Do’s and Dont’s, where unwitting hipsters are subjected to (warranted and super funny) ridicule and rated on a 1-10 kittens system. McInnes has recently compiled some of the best of these boners into a book for your enjoyment, aptly entitled Street Boners: 1,764 Hipster Fashion Jokes, which features contributions from Chloe Sevigny, Debbie Harry, Fred Armisen, and more. You can purchase it HERE.

“I feel like I could make a lot of money selling jeans that say NOT on the ass.”

Have you ever seen a more “Well, what do you think of my crazy girlfriend?” pose in your life?”

“Look, I made an effort with the boots so you need to meet me halfway by crouching more.” Ha ha but Helen, this is ridiculous.
