graveyard times.

monday was a day. it was a good day!

erika and i went to leah’s house at 10 pm (who goes to someone’s house at 10 in the night, really?). chris was there. we all decided to walk down to the graveyard, which is… i’m guessing like a 5-7 minute walk, but i’m not sure. anyway, it was a walk. and it was dark. we had one good flashlight, and one that barely worked at all.

it was soooo cool being in the graveyard, because there were no lights anywhere, so the stars were soooo bright and beautiful.

erika, chris, and leah =] <3

oh and our cousin jaron was with us toooo (leah’s half brother, you see). he and i are only 5 months apart. we used to be super close, but these last couple years we kind of stopped talking as much =( maybe this summer we’ll get close again.

here he is. this is typical jaron. always trying to do something to blind himself, cave his head in, or break a limb =D
<33333 even though i look funny and i cut her out accidentally.

at one point erika just disappeared and jaron said “dude, where’s the other half of you?” and then we looked around, and she slowly popped up from behind a tombstone, grinning.

as we were headed back home, we were going down a hill and coming up on someone’s house. erika was in the front, chris was behind her, leah and i were linked arm in arm behind chris, and jaron was behind us with a flashlight. we got closer to the house then leah and i kept saying “jaron turn out the light, turn out the light!” then he did, and we heard erika trip down the hill and screech =D so we quickly said “TURN IT BACK ON, TURN IT BACK ON!” then he did, and we found a gigging erika getting up from the ground. ahh =’)

while we were in the road, jaron went a seperate way from us. when shined the flashlight and saw him sitting on the side of the road, kind of curled up in a ball. we all laughed, then he started skipping towards us. NO JOKE. this is totally out of character for jaron, and you have no idea how hilarious it was. then he tried to give leah a flashlight, but he had accidentally shined it right in her eyes, so she couldn’t see to take the flashlight. then he laid it on her shoulder, it slid off, fell in the road, and broke =] that was the GOOD flashlight. so we walked back in the complete dark the whole time, fearing snakes. (there are tons of copperheads where they live). after a while, jaron decided that he would take the not so good flashlight and stomp on it.

while we were passing by a church, jaron stated, “wouldn’t you just love to go gallop in the church’s yard?” and he did. leah followed behind him for a little bit. the sight of those two galloping together was pricelesssssssss. chris and i had a fight to see who could push eachother out of the road by using all of our body weight to shove eachother. he won.

when we got back to leah’s house, her mom had our grandma on speaker phone, and mamaw was yelling at us because we didn’t tell her that we were walking to the graveyard.

then chris left. erika, leah, and i went over to our grandma’s house where we found old papers that we had written on like 2-4 years ago. we used to do this thing where we would write out a random sentence (such as “the snake dreams of children dressed as insects, dancing in a magical forest, wondering where the heck december went” and yes, that was actually one of them). it was so interesting. we found our old story “how to milk a fish”. i would link it, but it has caused some major brain trauma 😀 poor samara. <3

erika went back home eventually sadly, then leah and i started on a new story. we wrote a song about west virginia. you’ll hear it soon enough. we planned what we’re going to do this summer. food fights + paint fights + skinny dipping + hiking. we’ve got it all planned out!

so. this is a long journal. i will end it now =]

new straw. 😀 it was on one of those things.. i have absolutely no idea what they’re called, but it’s to test your breathing.

yeahhhh!

how’s youuuuu?
