Acoustic Battle: We Are The In Crowd Versus Anthony Green

Despite the digital age that we live in, more and more musicians seem to be returning back to basics and giving acoustic performances. This Century have even announced a set of stripped back show in support of their new EP “Acoustics”. In other unplugged news, We Are The In Crowd and Anthony Green have both been performing alternate versions of their latest material. They’re two very different artists playing in similar styles but which suits the bare sound better? You decide.

We Are The In Crowd

We Are The In Crowd stopped by in J-14 magazine’s offices to perform two tracks acoustically. They sang “Kiss Me Again“, sans Alex Gaskarth, (which you can watch above) as well giving a rendition of “Rumor Mill“. Which song suits the minimal treatment better? Do either of their performances beat Anthony Green?

Anthony Green

Anthony Green of Circa Survive re-interprets his solo material with simply a guitar and his voice to back him up. Does “Jame’s Song” improve on the original or do you not believe in the “less is more” philosophy?

Who should stick to acoustic?

And who should plug it in and turn it up?
