L'Arc~en~Ciel is, without a doubt, one of the most prolific and successful rock bands in all of Japan. Selling millions of copies of albums, singles and videos alike, their music has endured the years, continuing to be well-loved from the time of their incarnation in 1991 to present time.

Anthony Green, one of the most idolized singers within the scene today, is a musician from Doylestown Pennsylvania. He is the current lead singer of Circa Survive, an experimental indie-rock band, but also has a solo career – it’s a mixture of indie, bluegrass and psychobilly.

Japanese darkwave/visual kei band Velvet Eden was founded in 1998 by vocalist Dada (the longest remaining and most influential band member) and keyboardist Kalm.The band's ethereal sound, often compared to Depeche Mode, is accompanied by Dada's deep-pitched and frequently distorted vocals, along with hypnotic performance.

Tahiti 80 have recently released their fourth album, Activity Center, but only in France and Japan. Tahiti 80 has been making fun electro-pop music since 1996, but maybe now that Phoenix has the music world giving French artists some attention, Tahiti 80 might just get their chance to breakthrough!! They are heading to the US this week for a show in LA (11/5) and in NY (11/7), if you are in these cities then hopefully you can be one of the lucky people to attend these shows. Son of Dork were a British pop-punk band that was formed by ex-Busted member James Bourne after his band had split in early 2005. After placing adverts in music magazines and newspapers, James eventually recruited four other members to the band.

Shalua lets her humans take photos of her and then post them on Buzznet. If I was a cat, I'm sure we would be bestest friends. One of her eyes is blue and the other is green, which makes her hypnotic. Shalua is such a star that she is regularly photographed by the awesome MiseryxChord. Another thing she lets her humans so is make videos of her and Shalua uses them to take about issues that are close to her heart.

This bands sound mainly revolves around the post-hardcore genre, but has slightly pop-punk edges to it. They definitely have very catchy choruses and the verses fit in perfectly. The lyrics are always thoughtful, and their music conveys a definite mood.
