I woke feeling clean and refreshed; it had been a while since I'd slept in a proper bed. Or been in a proper house for that matter! I'd been in and out of motels for what felt like forever. I also loved being with Jeremy, we stayed up really late just having a good catch up, He's with this girl, Jesse Lee, and they're getting pretty serious! I'm glad he's happy. At least that makes one of us. My heart was just a gaping hole of black now, And every time I saw something that reminded me of.. him.. the seams tore further, making the gaping hole larger. It killed me to think about him. I could hardly think his name.

 

I stumbled out of the guest room to see Jeremy making pancakes; I hadn't had proper food in a while either. I was going to like this, but it would only ever be second best.

 

"Sup Hayler!" He called to me

 

"Hayler?" I asked, cracking a smile. Another thing I hadn't done in a while.

 

"Yeah, suits you I think!" He smiled back.


"Okay then, Jerm.. in.. ee"

 

"Jerminy?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.


"Sure." I said, "Why not?"


"True enough." He chuckled.

 

"So, you hungry?"

 

"You have no idea!" I replied, scarfing down the pancakes and burning my mouth in the process.

I just laughed and kept eating. I'd need my strength. And so the hunt began.

 

I set off from Jeremy's place at around 12 noon, keeping tabs on my route the whole way, hardly even taking in the sights of New York as I searched the city for any sign of him. Nothing.

 

I returned to Jeremy's around 11pm, tired, hungry and cold. New York was FREEZING in December. I would search again the next morning, going in the opposite direction from the way before. I'd turn the entire upside down to find.. to find.. Josh. The thought of his name brought back tears and memories. I thought about the first day we ever met.. Back in Tennessee, When the world was as it should be.

 

[FLASHBACK]

 

Oh No! I was panicking as I walked up to the school doors and pushed them open lightly, I hated being the new girl. I never fit in with anyone, I was too weird. My hair was too bright and I wore skinny jeans, which for some reason singled me out as a freak.

 

I walked up to the reception and grabbed my timetable, mumbling a hushed "thanks" to the lady behind the desk. I quickly memorised my day so that I didn't have to walk around like a dork with a bit of paper glued to my face. I found my locker and saw there was somebody leaning against it, I didn't want to say anything, but all my books were really heavy. So I plucked up and marched over to ask them to move.

 

"Excuse me, but uh, that's my locker."


"Yeah, well then.." He stopped talking when he turned round, I wasn't sure why. He looked shocked.

 

"Err.. okay. I guess I'll move then. What's your name?"

 

"Err.. I'm Hayley." I mumbled "Hayley Williams, I'm new here."

 

"Well, I guess I'll give you a tour of the school so you don't get lost. I'm Josh by the way. Josh Farro."

 

This Josh Farro kid was pretty good looking, seemed really nice to. I think he'd make my being here worth it. He reached for my hand and I took it without hesitating, compelled to find out more about him.

I then broke into tears and sat down on the snowy ground with my head in my hands. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up to see Jeremy. He snatched me up into his arms and carried me back to his house. All I could do was cry.

I am absolutely appalled at the quality of your product 'Moose Head Shaping Dough.' I used it about 5 days ago, and it still has not washed out of my hair. I have been washing my hair twice daily, and none of it has came out.
     My hair is now in awful condition, and it looks greasy, and unwashed. My scalp has become itchy, and my hair is beginning to fall out. Not massively, yet. I definitely used as instructed, as above and I definitely followed your 'less is more' instruction.
     However, I've come to realise that the less you put in your hair the better, since somehow it just doesn't seem to come out. This product has caused me nothing but stress and frustration, and I am disgusted with it.
     I looked at your site and it had no articles or anything for me to read, to perhaps improve the situation I am in. Not only do I have to go to school like this, but I also have to do my photography looking like this, and that can be badly affected by the outrageous condition my hair is in.
     Also, I notice on your website in some of the product descriptions you claim the products wash out easily. I see you do not have that written on the shaping dough description.
     However, that doesn't mean this is my fault, because quite frankly, I don't think I should be having to read your whole website for ways in which I can rid my scalp of your badly made hair product.
     I would like you to suggest a way in which to get your product out of my hair. Otherwise, I'd make sure a lot of others know of the dangers your products hold.
