You need to upload content that would make you look more like an artist, i.e. songs of your own crafting, videos, something. When we say "artist account," we mean musician. We have yet to create a badge for other types of artists. :/

i have the same problem as karina... i signed up as a musician earlier but cant find my band in the search... also im not seeing anything to upload my band's music for some reason :S

1) how do you upload music
2) Same thing I have a badge saying I'm an official artist but not in the search criteria.

I'm having the same problem that Karina Wipper had.

You essentially have to "hi-jack" your profile by embedding your own media player. This is not advised by Buzznet staff but if you look at people's pages, they have them up so take that advice for what you will. You use any media player you like and then just throw the embed code in your shout out box. I have seen it done.
