What I've been up to / latest fashion purchaces

I tried to take a picture in the sunshine, but it was so bright I had to close my eyes. I'm breaking out as you can tell, bloody hate spots =( I've been writing all day, and I've managed to get up to 4,000 words of my novel! It's been a long time since I've worked on it because uni stress was getting to me, but now I have all the time in the world. I had this idea for my novel at 14. It does involve vampires. So as you can imagine, I'm kind of annoyed about all this vampire craze. And I'm annoyed at Twilight! now children will compare every vampire novel they read to twilight.

I'm not saying Twilight sucks, its just... okay it sucks, there I said it! I'm sure Stephenie Meyer herself knows she hasn't written great literature. Anyway, my novel is nothing like that, it's much less about sparkily vampires and more about unrequited love and the modern issues we face as humans, as men, as women, as well as the modern issues an undead creature would deal with. I'm probably not selling this to you as well as I could, but it isn't finished yet, far from it.

I recently ordered a tonne of fashion-y stuff from ebay and some of its arrived. My leather jacket and bowler hat came this morning, I also got my leopard print creepers! I can't wait to wear them out, they do make my already huge feet bigger but I can live with that. They are super cool! will do an outfit blog with them on soon. I got some false bottom lashes too, which I'm so excited to try. I did order an lovely Pastel blue, drop waist 80's dress but it hasn't arrived yet.

I've also started reading 'The shadow of the wind' well I say started, more I'm continuing to read it, I got to about halfway 6 months ago and then stopped because uni work was getting on top of me, I had books for my literature course that I had to read instead. It's brilliant, I can't wait to blog about it, it's quiet a long book so it may be a long blog! xoxo
