Vegoose

lol, sorry I realize you are all fans of the festival, and maybe I would be too if I ever bothered to go, but I have never been. I only felt like posting because I live within walking distance of the Sam Boyd Stadium, which, of course, is where Vegoose is held every year. And every year, the loud music keeps me awake at night. I've been trying to study all weekend and it has been rather annoying sitting here in my house with this constant thumping in the background... hahaha I'm glad it's ending right now. Although, from reading some of your posts, it seems some of you are staying in hotels that are really far away. I wish I had thought about this before.... but I've got a guest room in my house.... maybe next year I will rent it out to somebody who is going to Vegoose... I live so close you can walk.

Richard, myself, and RenegadeMartian are staying in the shadiest hotel ever, The Greek Isles. Apparently, there's some crazy convention here that has all the hotels booked. We're right down the street from the Hilton and Circus Circus. And like....a few miles from Ronald's vegan donuts. And that's all that matters.

Thievery Corporation is playing a show at the House of Blues tonight. I'm meeting up with Kron to catch them. Then it's all day music tomorrow!

ive never been to vegoose, and seeing where i live (spain) and how far away it is from vegas, well i dont think im gonna go this year, but im gonna save money to by tickets for next year!! i really hope i go sometime!!

Okay I just have to rant here a little bit so bear with me......
Ive been going to vegoose every year now, part of a halloween with my friends tradition. Been so excited waiting for my souvenier tickets this year contemplating what they will be like. What do I get in the mail today? Plain old tickets. looks like im going to a IHL hockey game or somthing. What happened to our unique specially designed tickets for 07'? can anyone explain this? Is anyone else unhappy with vegoose management decesions to not issue collectors tickets this year?

I am a vegoose virgin but have seen some of the bands once or twice. Im a huge Blonde Redhead fan, as well as STS9 and Thievery Corporation. i saw sts9 at bonnaroo this year and it was awesome. later i saw blonde redhead in austin texas at an ACL aftershow and it, as well as other things at the time:), blew my mind. Im only going to vegoose on saturday but it has a good lineup. Im hoping the Daft Punk alive 2007 tour's last show in the u.s. is going to be good. And, doubtfully i hope cypress hill plays mostly temple of boom and black sunday stuff. if you are going to vegoose i hope to see you there!
