Adam Carson is going to be playing one of these days with Tiger Army. James Meza will play the rest!!!

I WISH I COULD GO DAMMIT!!!!

I'm going to have to break down and buy tix... and weep inconsolably because no one can get Hellcat to respond about a photo pass for me. I was sad that Said Radio had to cancel their date, then excited to hear that Adam is playing one night... now a little more distraught because I WANT TO PHOTO THAT SO BADLY!!!

....I WANT TO GO DAMMIT!!! It sucks that you will have to buy tix, but I sure hope you are able to go!

So now that the 5 day event is over, let's look back on the awesomeness.

Best opening bands (in my opinion) were VNV Nation, Guana Batz, and 12 Step Rebels. I really wished I was able to see TSOL, but I couldn't go that night.

Seeing Adam play his first drum solo EVER (which is actually surprising!), and then him playing Strength Through Wounding was awesome.

Great setlists every night. I was so bummed I wasn't able to see Hechizo de Amor.

The meet and greet was awesome, but uncomfortable. The room was so hot, especially dealing with a super hot Halloween show, But someone told me that Nick didn't want the room cold, due to his vocal chords. Understandable, I just wished that they didn't close the bars 30 minutes after being in that room. I was about to pass out. The guys were great and very polite.

These shows made my year. I was so happy I was able to attend 3 of them. :)

I missed VNV Nation (that was the night I was stranded at the bus station :( )... TSOL (and Said Radio) actually had to cancel a few weeks ago... it was Civet (for Said Radio), and Sweet and Tender Hooligans (for TSOL) as openers. SaTH is an awesome Smiths/Morrissey cover band that I will probably lose punk-points for saying I enjoyed more than I did the last time I saw TSOL ;)

Yeah, I've been told Nick likes the AC off to protect his voice... but I think the main reason that room got hot was having so many people sitting in it waiting. It was still MUCH cooler in there than it was in front of the stage during TA's set with the AC off, but I was afraid if I sat down I'd fall asleep. Sucks they closed the bar... I'm happy I bought my water right away then (heat cramps in feet suck!)

It was nice seeing you again! I'm going to be so blue next week when the rush wears off and it starts hitting me that I may not see Tiger Army again for a year or two :(

That's right! I totally forgot that TSOL cancelled. I've never heard anything from SaTH, but I've heard mixed reviews of them.

Yeah, I was going 6 hours of not having anything to drink or eat, so the heat was taking a huge toll on my body last night.

It was great seeing you too Misery! Can't wait to see the pictures - If you already put them up, I haven't taken a look yet. I'm already having withdrawls from the concerts :(. I keep listening to Incorporeal and Sea of Fire and wishing it was last night again. I'm seeing 12 Step Rebels tonight. They were awesome. I talked to them for awhile yesterday while The Quakes were on stage, and they're very cool guys.

I have galleries up of all the bands from nights 2,3 & 4... am downloading last night's photos right now.
