Speak Now - 11 | The Ending

A/N: Well, here is the last chapter. Hope you enjoyed.
Forever and Always
Josh was on his fourth smoke when he pulled it from the box and lit it up taking a big drag from it, he sighed, letting all the smoke escape from his mouth. Josh couldn't breathe in this tuxedo. It was too tight and looked awful on him. He looked like a chubby penguin. And the taste of grilled cheese sandwhiches did not escape from his mouth. He tried making it go away with tic-tacs, mento's even gum but it didn't work. He was stuck with it.
"Josh you look sick." Taylor said sitting beside his best friend on the front step of the church smiling at all the people who walked passed the both of them.
"I don't feel too good, Tay." He agreed with his best friend and they both got up and made their way to the back where there was a garden. Josh stepped on the ciggarette and went to go pull out another when Taylor took them away from him.
"No more." He says, "What's wrong? You should be the happiest you've ever been."
"I know." Josh sighed and in his mind a smile flashed in his head. A gapped-tooth, pale pink smile that made his heart jump and race. "I just don't know, anymore."
"Josh, if you're thinking about her than stop. She even said so herself. She didn't want you." Taylor said looking at his heartbroken friend, "We shouldn't even gone to that stupid reunion."
Josh looked at his feet and sighed, "I know. I'm better off. But I don't think Jenna trusts me anymore."
"Josh, she wouldn't have still made all these plans if she didn't trust you when you told her everything that happened."
"I guess so." Josh said and they walked back inside
Actually, Josh thought she was still going through with the wedding is because her mother and father don't want this all to be wasted because they put so much money into it. I didn't even get it, why did they have to come and budge in? Josh wrinkled his noise and rubbed his eyes.
He hated her mother and father.
"Let's get this over with." Josh said as they entered where the people were and put on a smile.
"Act like your happy." Taylor said and waved at all the people who were smiling at them.
"I am." Josh grinned and cleared his voice placing his hands together, looking around at the guests who were already seated, who were coming and who were talking amongst each other.

Hayley Williams had only agreed to go this wedding for two reasons: 1.) Because her mother begged her too. and 2.) There would be free booze.
So here she stood looking at herself in the mirror, with the palest pink dress her mother could buy and a pair of yellow stillettos. She was conflicted if she would wear her hair down or up. Her mother put her old locket her dad gave to her when she was little and now Hayley was wearing it.
Walking away from the mirror grumpily she shoved her hair into a ponytail and climbing down the stairs only to be stopped by her mother who delicately removed her hair from the ponytail and brushed it out putting a silver clip in it.
"Ready to go?"
"Let's get to the funeral." Hayley said and slumped her shoulders before walking out the house she used to live in and in the front passanger car.
"Be happy my sweet child. Your friend is going to live happily ever after." Hayley's mom said and rubbing circles on Hayley's hand while she drove and made their way to the church.
"I'm happy." Hayley lied but smiled at her mother.
Hayley and her mother made their way into the church. It was hushed and a piano player was playing one delicate piece that Hayley started humming. She loved the piano. She stopped when Josh's brothers opened the door to the room, I turned my head and looked at Jenna arguing with her bridesmaids wearing a gown shaped like a pastry. With who Hayley asuumed to be her mother and father all dressed in pastels. Hayley groaned and walked with her mom only stopping again when she sees Josh. Biting onto her lip she looks away and crawls into a space beside Jeremy.
"Hey Jer." Hayley says but is only looking at Josh who is looking at him and mouthed, "This is not what you expected, was it?"
"You need to talk to him." Jeremy said quietly so he wasn't heard. "You like him, Hayley. Your time is running out, so speak now."
Hayley nodded but stayed silent as the organ started playing a song that sounded like a death march. Slowly, a flower girl, a baron and her bridesmaid and Josh's bestfriends came hand-in-hand floating down the aisle. The last was Jenna who came out floating like she was in paegent. Once she found Josh's hands Hayley's heart sunk and Josh kissed her cheek.
Josh's mind was reeling. He heard the words Hayley had mouthed to him. It sounded like she was so clearly next to him. Why was she hear? Was she just torturing him.
As the preacher went on and started, Josh started shaking.
Hayley started trembling.
As they went on and were about to say there vows, Hayley couldn't stand it anymore. Her mother purposely brought her here. As it ended, Hayley got up and made her way into the aisle heading out until she stopped completely when she heard the preacher say:
"Speak now or forever hold your peace."
Only silence. Josh looked at Hayley and Hayley slowly turned around and cleared her voice raising her shaky hands, "I am not the kind of girl who should be rudely barging in on a white veil occasion..."
"Then leave." Jenna muttered harshly.
"You need to hear me out." Hayley took a few steps closer and she could feel all eyes on her but she was only looking at him, "I am not the kind of girl who should be rudely barging in on a white veil occasion. But you are not the kind of boy, who should be marrying the wrong girl."
"He loves me." Jenna muttered even more loudly
"Jenna, she's allowed to speak." The preacher said and gently put his hands on Jenna's shoulders.
Hayley blinked a few times and her voice was shaky, "I was wrong, Josh. About everything. I know that now. You're everything I think about. If there was someway to get rid of it, I wouldn't." Her voice was shaking even more and tears spilled over her eyes, "I know I'm not the kind of girl you thought I was. But I have changed and I know this is probably the worst time to say all this, Josh, but you're everything I want. Everything I need. But you're getting married and maybe I won't change your mind but is this what you expected this to be? Do you imagine seeing Jenna's face everyday when you wake up? Do you want to kiss her? Do you want the same thing for Lunch and Dinner? I'm not questioning your relationship, Josh. I'm questioning what do you want? Just tell me what do you want and I'll be that for you." Hayley cleared her voice again and wiped her eyes, "I am not the kind of girl who should be rudely barging in on a white veil occasion and for that, I am sorry."
Hayley looked at Josh one more pleading time before turning around and walking out hearing the doors slam shut she heard a scream..

Josh stared at the girl who just ran out of his life, again. He grabbed Jenna's hand and looked at her and took a few deep breathes.
"Jenna, I love you..." Josh continued, "But I can't loose her again."
"J-Josh? What are you saying?" Jenna pouted
"I can't marry you."
"Yes you are!" Her father boomed
Josh laughed sarcastically, "Who are you to tell me what you do, Mr. Rice? Thats all I have been doing is being tossed around by you! I'm happy to say that I wouldn't be glad to have you as my in-laws! You're ridicolous and rude!" Josh got off the stage and ran out of the church, finding her gapped-tooth lover.
"Baby, I didn't want to say my vows. I'm glad you turned around when he said speak now." A voice said softly and came by her side. Hayley looked up and smiled at Josh tears already pouring out, "Don't cry, please. I feel like a jerk as it is."
"Why did you leave? You were suppose to be happy!" Hayley cried into his chest as he wrapped his arms around her
"I heard you out." Josh said and kissed the top of her head, "I heard you out. I couldn't loose you again, Hayley."
"You were suppose to be happy!" Hayley argued and wrapped her arms tighter around his waist.
"I am happy though, wherever I am with you. It would of been a mistake if I chose Jenna instead of you. Can we start over? I'm Josh."
Hayley wiped her eyes and grinned at Josh and kissed him lightly on the lips, "I'm Hayley."
"Excuse me, Miss. Hayley, I don't kiss on the first date." Josh grinned at her but kissed her again anyways.
