Ever since news of her cheating scandal with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders broke, Kristen Stewarthad many aspects of her life go into question. First was the status of her relationship with her brokenhearted long-time boyfriend Robert Pattinson, and second was her role in the sequel to her blockbuster hit movie Snow White and the Huntsman. While the first was made clear after reports that the pair moved out of their shared Los Feliz home, the second hasn't had any answers... until now!
It's been confirmed by Universal that Kristen has been dropped from any plans for a Snow White and the Huntsman sequel. Yikes! So who will play "the fairest of them all"? None other than Chris Hemsworth... sort of. The studio has decided that they want to focus on Chris' Huntsman character instead of K-Stew's Snow White. While it's not known if Rupert will be returning as director, the studio was quick to explain that the movie will be more of a spin-off than a sequel.
A spokeswoman for Universal said: "The studio is currently exploring options to continue the franchise."
Do you think Universal made the right choice dropping Kristen as Snow White for a sequel?
