Welcome to Scattered Words, a new home for all you written works.You can post your Fan Fics, Slash Fics, Original Fics, Poetry or any other written work you want to share with Buzznet.
There is a world in a story and you can be the one to let people escape to it.
Scattered Words is also the home for Writing Challenges.
The concept is simple really...
The group Editors will post a Challenge in the Forum.
These Challenges may be based on a theme, a quote of some sort, a song, a picture or anything else we can come up with to inspire people.
We will also at some point be having Photo Editing Challenges, but that will be worked out in time.
With these Challenges you will have 2 weeks to write and post your work.
When those 2 weeks are up a poll will be posted for everyone to vote for their favourite entry.
The winner will be made a featured member until the winner of the following Challenge is announced and will have a link to the winning entry posted to the group.
Rules.
Of course there has to be rules to make sure things don't get out of hand, but they are few in number.
1) No hating on anything.
It's simple...be polite. If you happen to break this rule you will be banned from this group and the comment will be deleted. This means that no you can not insult the girlfriends, how the person writes or even the storyline. This does not apply to what you write in your stories and does of course not apply to constructive criticism...but remember if it isn't constructive it's breaking the rule.
2) Must put a warning in the 1st paragraph.
This rule is just to warn people incase they dont want to read something. You must have a rating on your stories, before the story starts, for example PG, PG13, 14, R,and NC17. If you forget the Editors will just tell you to please fix it.This rule mostly applies to drabbles and one-shots, however, if you have a Sex Scene or anything that is not suitable for younger readers you must have a rating at the beginning of the chapter to reflect that.
3) For Drabbles and One Shots.
It must be clearly stated that it is a One Shot or a Drabble. If you do have a Drabble please put the word count at the end of the story.
4) Beta aka an editor
Please to try at least to have a beta if you cannot find anyone you will still be able to post.
So keep everything good and fun so there will be no problems. :]
